Years ago I was treated by a Shiatsu Therapist / Yoga Teacher for back aches due to a sedentary lifestyle, resulting in poor posture to compensate for the pain. After a few treatments the Yoga Teacher in her spoke up and said it did not make sense for me to keep coming back for a problem I could easily self-manage. She drew up specific Yoga poses for me to do as homework and each visit thereafter taught me how to do them with awareness of spirit, mind, body and breath. My posture improved and daily back aches became a thing of the past.

Back aches and posture were not the only things Yoga helped me with. Since 2018 I have lived with Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS), a debilitating condition not many know how to diagnose or treat. After an arduous journey of tests and therapies that did not work, a neurosurgeon and concussion expert suggested Yoga and mindfulness.
I experienced a dramatic improvement within a week!
Eager to learn more I began to study Yoga with a group of renowned Yoga Therapists who were primarily Physical Therapist, Kinesiologist, Facia Expert, MD or Professor of Yoga Therapy as well.
Today I am Certified as Yoga Wellness Educator and Yoga Alliance certified E-RYT-200, RYT-500, YACEP (Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider).
